Francis J. Podvin
ATTORNEY
Fran earned his law degree from Marquette University Law School and has been practicing in Wisconsin Rapids since 1965. His practice focuses on business planning, estate planning and probate, with a focus on generational family businesses. He has been very active in businesses across the community, serving as director, officer, and adviser. He has helped to propel these local businesses into growth opportunities and success.
In addition to his legal practice, Fran has served as a director on publicly traded companies, formerly serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. from 2006 to 2014. Fran currently serves as a director on several privately held companies and charitable foundations. Over his career, he has organized companies and handled mergers and acquisitions locally, nationally, and internationally.
In addition to his work in law, Fran serves as a general partner in City Point Cranberries, LLP. This experience gives him unique insight into the issues and challenges facing his clients in the cranberry industry.
In his free time, Fran enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
